This page explains what the Association of Multidisciplinary Sports & Exercise Medicine Students (ASEMS) collects through this website and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you join, the form asks for your name, your university email address, your university, your discipline and your year of study. You can also give a personal email address so we can stay in touch after you graduate, and tell us whether you are interested in a committee role. Nothing else is collected. The site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Why we collect it

To confirm you are a student, to send you event details and member communications, and to contact you about committee roles if you asked us to.

Where it is stored

Signups are stored in a Google Firebase database in Australia (Sydney). Access is limited to committee members with named accounts. We do not sell or share your details with sponsors or third parties.

Your choices

Email the committee from the contact page to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. We will act within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with the date it took effect.
